to be honest, this was the first white/european funeral i have ever attended. lots of singing and reading of words (in swedish, might i add) and a long speech courtesy of the widow. and then there was that long awkward dinner filled with vaguely unemotional discussions on how we all know the man. it was a great experience (got to see snow) and i truly wish the whole family all the best.
